Our highest priority at LUCKY 13 is to place our Mastiffs in loving and caring homes. Please read the contracts below before you decide to add one of our puppies to your family. Contracts will be signed at time of deposit or pickup.

Please note that a deposit will hold any pup for you. Please remember, our pups go fast! That's why it's important if you see your puppy to call us and make a deposit today. Only a 50% deposit can hold your choice!

Our prices are $2200 for limited registration or $2500 for full registration. You will be getting a purebred puppy with championship lines. We also offer a 2 yr health guarantee. We break it down into categories (fawn female, brindle female, fawn male, or brindle male. The picks begin at 7 weeks, and they are able to leave at 8 weeks old.

MALE PUPPY CONTRACT

Agreement:

The breeder and buyer have entered into an agreement to transfer the ownership of this Mastiff puppy, all indicated above, and agree to the following conditions set down for the betterment of the breed, the protection of this Mastiff, and the reputation of the Breeder's kennel. Such basic conditions are as follows:

1. This Mastiff will be treated as a member of the family. This Mastiff is to be a companion and not left unattended or neglected. This Mastiff will never be trained as a guard or attack dog, or used for the purpose of fighting or any other sport detrimental to the breed and it's reputation.

2. This Mastiff will be provided with quality food, fresh water, qualified veterinary care, proper shelter from heat or cold, active companionship, appropriate exercise, regular training and socialization. Ample quality time will be given to this Mastiff.

3. The Breeder's kennel name, Lucky 13 will be the prefix to the AKC registered name of this Mastiff. It is the Buyer's responsibility to register this Mastiff with the AKC within 6 months of taking possession of this Mastiff. Neither this dog nor any offspring produced by this dog shall ever be registered with any other canine registry other then the American Kennel Club (AKC) .

4. Contact information shall always be kept up to date. The Breeder and Buyer will notify each other if there is a change of address, email or phone number.

5. Notification will be given before transfer of ownership of this Mastiff. If at any time during this Mastiff's life the Buyer decides to sell or give him away, the Buyer agrees to notify the Breeder and give her first right of refusal. The Breeder will at any time take this Mastiff back if asked to do so, with no further questions required of the Buyer.

6. For the protection of the breed, the health and well being of this Mastiff dog, and the protection of the Mastiff population, the Buyer hereby agrees:

The Buyer agrees to test this Mastiff for any genetic defects before breeding, and for the sake of bettering the breed the Buyer agrees to share all results with the Breeder. The Buyer shall never breed this Mastiff to any other than a respectable specimen of his own breed, always keeping in mind the betterment of the breed, always striving to improve the breed and to reduce genetic faults. The Buyer agrees to not knowingly breed this dog to any known puppy mill, broker, or pet shop bitch; nor be used to sire litters for the purpose of producing puppies for the same. Neither shall he be allowed to sire litters for the purpose of producing stock for laboratory experimentation. It shall be the stud dog owner responsibility to check the reputability of the bitch owner before breeding takes place. Should question arise as to the reputability of the bitch owner, the Buyer will not breed this Mastiff to the bitch.

7. Guarantee by the Breeder: The Buyer is hereby granted a guarantee against serious congenital or genetic defects until the dog reaches twenty six months of age, up to and at which time this Mastiff can be officially tested. Should the puppy develop any condition within this time frame, if it is conclusive that the congenital or genetic defect is in fact a hereditary condition that was not contributed to through the Buyer's care and environment and that this condition could not have been avoided; it will be replaced with another upon first availability; or, by mutual agreement, the Breeder will provide a partial refund of the purchase price upon proof that the dog has been neutered so that the problem will not be passed along into future progeny. Proof of defect must be in the form of a veterinarian's certificate or OFA's evaluation so stating and the certificate must be accompanied by x-rays, full medical history and findings. This guarantee is null and void if NuVet Plus and Nu Joint were not given on a regular basis to the puppy through twenty six months of age. Owner must provide receipts of purchased products mentioned above if requested.

8. The buyer has the right, and is advised to do so, to have this Mastiff examined by a veterinarian within 7 working days of possession of this puppy. If the veterinarian determines that the Mastiff is not in good health, the Breeder will, upon return of the puppy and all relevant papers, immediately refund the purchase price.

The Breeder sells this Mastiff, believing in good faith that the Mastiff is a healthy and respectable compliment to its breed. The Breeder further agrees to offer guidance to the Buyer in the rearing of this Mastiff.

We, the Breeder and the Buyer, do hereby acknowledge this to be a true and binding contract. We agree, and make absolute promise, to fully abide by its terms and conditions.

FEMALE PUPPY CONTRACT

3. The Breeder's kennel name, Lucky 13, will be the prefix to the AKC registered name of this Mastiff. It is the Buyer's responsibility to register this Mastiff with the AKC within 6 months of taking possession of this Mastiff. Neither this Mastiff nor any offspring produced by this Mastiff shall ever be registered with any other canine registry other then the American Kennel Club (AKC).

For the protection of the breed, the health and well being of this Mastiff, and the protection of the Mastiff population, the Buyer hereby agrees: This Mastiff will not be bred before reaching 22 months of age, nor after her seventh (7th) birthday. The Buyer agrees to test this Mastiff for any genetic defects before breeding, and for the sake of bettering the breed the Buyer agrees to share all results with the Breeder. The Buyer shall never breed this Mastiff to any other than a respectable specimen of her own breed, always keeping in mind the betterment of the breed, always striving to improve the breed and to reduce genetic faults. The Buyer shall never breed this Mastiff in successive heats, but shall wait one year between litters unless advised by a veterinarian for treatment of pyometra or metritis. The Buyer agrees to not allow any puppies produced by this Mastiff to be sold to any known puppy mill, broker, or pet shop or for the purpose of producing stock for laboratory experimentation. The buyer agrees to seek out quality and loving homes for the puppies produced by this Mastiff.

Proof of defect must be in the form of a veterinarian's certificate or OFA's evaluation so stating and the certificate must be accompanied by x-rays, full medical history and findings. This guarantee is nil and void if NuVet Plus and Nu Joint were not given on a regular basis to the puppy through twenty six months of age. Owner must provide receipts of purchased products mentioned above if requested.

8. The buyer has the right, and is advised to do so, to have this Mastiff examined by a veterinarian within 7 working days of possession of this puppy. If the veterinarian determines that the Mastiff is not in good health, the Breeder will, upon return of the puppy (buyers responsibility), refund the purchase price or replace the Mastiff upon first availability, whichever is most agreeable to the Buyer.

We, the Breeder and the Buyer, do hereby acknowledge this to be a true and binding contract. We agree, and make absolute promise, to fully abide by its terms and conditions.
