I cannot offer enough praise to Janell. Her animals are part of her family and when one of her beautiful English Mastiffs has a litter of puppies, she treats them like royalty around the clock. With the kind of hands-on care she gives the puppies, you cannot help but get a beautiful, well adjusted puppy. Our little guy, Tank, is from the March 20, 2009 litter of Mr. Big and Angel. He is simply gorgeous, and he has a warm and loving personality with eyes that talk to you. Actually , we don't think he knows he is a dog.
Look no further for the perfect Mastiff, as you will find it at Lucky 13. Expect to receive the very best, because you will.

Louie, sometimes Louis, will be a year old in March. He was from the March 20, 2009 litter with Mr. Big and Angel. Louie had big shoes to fill when our 8 yr old Mastiff died but he has been up to the task. Louie is always happy, wags his tail constantly, and never is impatient, pushy or aggressive. Louie has adapted to life with cats, birds, bunnies, tortoises, other Mastiffs, little dogs and almost tame deer with a gentleness that is unbelievable for such a huge dog. He plays with the Pug and Boston Terriers by the hour and the only yips I ever hear are from Louie because they have hurt him. I would trust him unsupervised with the tiniest puppy or kitten. Initially he was terrified of the cat but now I catch them cuddled up together on a tiny dog bed snoring. He adores being outside but is equally happy lying on my feet while I sit on the couch. He understood the word "no" at a very early age and was housebroken from day one. Louie is sweet beyond measure and is loved by us and all who meet him.

We have had a great experience with Lucky 13 English Mastiffs! Being from NC we were nervous about picking a dog and getting it home. Janell worked with us and was very professional and accommodating. We couldn't be more happy with Brooklyn! She is a very healthy and beautiful Mastiff with an amazing personality. We will definitely be returning to Lucky 13 when we are ready to add another Mastiff to our family. Right now we have a full house with two Mastiffs.
